Garbage Mountain = ごみの山... リサイクルについてお話を展開させるわけですが、ごみは自然のごみでない限り、消すことができませんね。我が国は島国といえども、広い土地があります。要らないものを、結局どこかに追いやっている状況ですね。調査をすると、２つの方法があります。形を変えて移動させる方法と、形を変えずにそのまま移動させる。その追いやっているごみ達の行方が、よく見えないからあまり感じないけれども、もしものを捨てる時に自分の住んでいる場所で処分する必要があれば、皆何か、工夫し始めるでしょう。そうなると、前者の「形を変えて」の方を取るのではないでしょうか。そして、無駄に買いすぎたり、ものを持ちすぎたりということも、自然と減るでしょう。

ごみの行方がわかるということは、ごみダイエット（減量）のための行動するための原点ではないでしょうか。
